Was here back in early September of 2022. No one else there except the ghosts of the Corps of Discovery.
Beautiful and peaceful area just downhill from Lemhi Pass. I did not see any signs prohibiting camping, but I did not stay the night. I would plan a nice slow drive up here enjoying the beautiful Bar double T ranch and then spend time having a picnic and enjoying a walk in this nearly pristine place of memory and honor. Watch for cattle on the way up. You will be driving through a private - and beautiful- ranch

This was a beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful information about Sacajawea. It's also the headwaters of the Missouri River. There are wonderful views of the valley in Idaho and the valley in Montana. We went in June and there were so many wildflowers but not many tourists. It was an amazing experience.
