This was a beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful information about Sacajawea. It's also the headwaters of the Missouri River. There are wonderful views of the valley in Idaho and the valley in Montana. We went in June and there were so many wildflowers but not many tourists. It was an amazing experience.
Nice place to have a picnic lunch and hike down to the beginning of the Missouri River. Vault toilets on site.
Remote picnic area, so not crowded and no trailers. Beautiful area and a great historical site.
