If you have a loved one dying with this physician on their team, rethink about her being with your loved one. My dad was dying with stage 4 lung cancer which was rapidly spreading throughout his body. I was doing everything my dad desired and in the best way for him and she called me basically saying I wasn't doing what was best for my father. Dr Obaid is a very skilled doctor with a supportive bedside manner and a high level of medical knowledge. I previously questioned the value of "hospitalists" viewing them as "short term placeholders"; Dr Obaid has been an active participant in improving the condition of my wife and is a personification of "Value Added" in medicine.
