Under New Ownership – Sabor Latino changed ownership this July 2009. The place was moderately renovated and the salsas have definitely improved. Would be great to see the newer reviews since the re-opening.
Bland, no alcohol license, ambiance is very humble – Maybe it is because I have been spoiled by growing up in California and living in New York but the food here was not authentic or even tasty. The chicken enchaladas were literally tasteless cubes of chicken in a tortilla. The tacos were greasy and flavorless and the empanadas were greasy. It's good mexican food – I went to Sabor Latino for the first time last month. The food was pretty good. The chips were decent. I had a beef wet burrito. I was really impressed by the burrito. The sauce both inside and out of the burrito was good. Their service good and our food was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I think it is good mexican restaurant.

I tried the tamale dinner, just ok, sort of bland tasting. It came with rice and beans, both needed some flavoring. The chips were actually chewy and sort of going stale, not to mention not much flavor. Be sure not to ask for more chips, because they will charge you $1.25 extra for a nice fresh stale basket and not inform you of the charge. I would probably not r... read more
