Tropical storm Helene knocked out our power and tore down our power line. It took three days for Duke Power to disconnect us from the pole. Needed an electrician in a hurry, but got done wrong by a bad actor, so I called around and got the highest possible recommendation for these guys. Called Shane, who reworked his schedule in order to get to us the very next morning. Gave me an estimate that was nearly $3,200 lower than the first company's best offer. I’ve been meaning to share this for a while and finally remembered while I have time to do it. Several weeks ago, in the middle of Tropical Storm Debby, with torrential rain, our AC went out. It had been a little spotty for a month or 2, but only seemed iffy when the temps and especially heat index were stupid high, like 99+.
