I am so sorry I fell for these bogus reviews and went to this office. What a mistake. They appear nice at first, but the minute you question them, it becomes nothing but condescending tones. They completely messed up a very expensive procedure, and despite my complaining about it, they said it was fine. Well, it wasn't. They would not take accountability at all. Very friendly staff, courteous and Dr. Allen does great work. Also his hair is god tier.
I recently went to see Dr. Michael Allen and had such a great experience. He is one of the most straightforward, kind, and compassionate dentists I’ve come across. His staff was just as warm and thoughtful, which made the whole visit feel really comfortable from start to finish. What stood out most was his bedside manner—he has a way of making going to the dentist actually feel easy and even enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.
Update: well it’s 2026 and I’m still going to see Dr. Allen, so I thought I’d post an update. Since my original review almost a decade ago, I completed Invisalign and I am so pleased with the results! It took less time than Dr. Allen anticipated (pro tip: wear your retainer!). Valerie has been cleaning my teeth the last couple of years and I feel like I have a new mouth when I leave her chair - squeaky clean teeth. Thank you Valerie! Being new to Tucson, I’ve tried a couple but have found that Sabino Hills Dentistry is the best. Great staff, professional and prompt insurance handling and terrific dental hygienists. Highly recommends.
