I purchased my first and only sword (a hand-and-a-half) from Sabersmith back in 2017, and it has been the absolute pride of my kit ever since. It's heavy, sturdy, and beautifully made. In recent years I've moved to a more humid place and noticed the sword was starting to get some surface rust, and brought the sword to Sabersmith (dropped off at the Michigan RenFest) for cleaning. I love working with these guys. I've met them at the faires and made orders by email and they always deliver a great product. Everything is genuine high carbon steel and needs proper care as such so be ready for that as a customer. They are great at maintaining contact and can even do more custom orders than the product info offers online if you contact them directly. I have over a dozen of their knives, swords, hammers, and shields and they are at this point my primary source for melee weaponry.
