Would not recommend this building. It is falling apart and all of the reviews are spot on! They also let you sign a “promotional” deal early on to make you pay more than the 2.5 percent rate for general rent increase for the next year. They also did not have any more updates about the DEMOLITION of this building. And yes the elevator still does not work! Beware! -EDIT- No compensation at all with the ongoing issues with the front entrance being broken. Residents have to go around and enter the emergency exit of the building.... read more
Every resident i bump into in this building says you guys are completely useless. i have had a wall with no electricity in it since i moved in here, after asking you guys to fix it. Elevator gone for a month and then hot water out for 4 days with no communication when it was back on. On top of all that, you had me sign on the basis i had in unit laundry and then for the first 3 weeks i was in here i had no machines because you forgot to install it. Over 3 days (78hrs) STILL NO HOT WATER Update to response: There was ZERO Communication regarding the heat going out. No space heaters We’re offered. Pretty wild lies from a professional transnational multi billion dollar real estate investment company. I’d expect this kind of garbage treatment if I was renting a basement suite from a janky landlord. 3rd update: 78hrs (over 3 days) and still no hot water Update to response: Lies.. space heaters? The heat being off was not even addressed once. No email, nobody on sight and definitely no space heaters. We went 24hrs before the hot water issue was even addressed, told it would be fixed the following day (Sunday) now it’s day 3, no heat or hot water. Many had no idea but this building was cosmetically enhanced with new lobby & hallway in 2022? It looks good from the lobby but once you are inside you realize - doors are super thin and you can hear your neighbors even across your door. - wall insulation is none existent. I can hear my neighbor upstairs taking a piss and I wish I am joking - Every year into winter you have to ask them to turn the boiler up in the winter as the insulation doesn't keep the apartment warm. - At the time of this review there also happen to have... read more
