What ever you do don't see Dr Peter Waddy. He said not to bother coming in for a check up until I was 20 weeks pregnant. Luckily my OB recognised that I would have been extremely unwell by then if not worse and found me a new cardiologist. I actually required intense cardiology treatment fortnightly for my entire pregnancy. I was proactive in calling Dr Waddy when falling pregnant and having complex cardiac medical history and he could not have cared less.
Very friendly and pretty quick.
I have been a patient of SA heart for many years, My specialist Mr Ian Button , has been exceptional surgeon and very caring man over several procedures ! I would not hesitate to recommend any person with heart issues to have your doctor refer you to SA heart , all staff are extremely friendly, and very helpful organising appointments for country patients.
The receptionist could definitely do with a Customer Service refresher course. Don't believe the call centre if they tell you ECGs are 'walk in'. Technician was kind, thorough and explained the procedure well. SA Heart Findon- have you ever stood at your counter as a patient? This is so overwhelming and confusing - what do you actually want me to do?? Many of your patients would be in distress, elderly or have English as second language - why do you make it so hard?
Dr Hii, seems to have a lot of accolades, yet still doesn't know how to upload a file into Myhealthrecord, which has been available since 2012. His bedside manner is also very lacking in warmth, good communication and empathy.
