Highly recommend S3! I have organized and participated in multiple kickball leagues with them over the past few years - both with coworkers and friends! Always a good time
Out of all of the rec sports leagues in the city, S3 has some of the lowest league fees, yet somehow they're some of the best organized leagues. I've done at least one S3 league every year I've lived in Chicago. It's an amazing way to meet people and make friends.
Our team loves playing in the S3 Oz Park Co-ed Softball Wednesday night 16 inch softball league. Great times among friends! Well organized with good league website.
I have really enjoyed playing on teams with S3! I recently moved to the city and wanted to make some friends, so I joined a softball team. We are now in our 5th season of playing and created a bowling team through S3 during the winters. I’ve made some really great friends through this league and have enjoyed the social aspect compared to some other leagues in the city. We always have a great time with each other and the other teams. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to make friends in the city!
DO NOT JOIN! Ben who runs it doesn't give a crap about anyone or their well being. Didn't tell us until the DAY OF that the league would be pushed back a week. I emailed him TWICE, never once got a response, had an AWFUL experience on first game, and he refuses to refund me or put me on another league. Complete money grab without considering anyone as humans.
