This is the place to go for work on 1911 format pistols. The owner restaked a plunger tube very quickly and charged a reasonable fee. From briefly talking to them I get the impression they specialize in classical and Milsurp firearms. This is another mom and pop gunsmith worth supporting.

What a jerk of a place! Put gun in for service, change rails from Weaver to Picatinny mounts before Christmas. Called twice, rude, said would call when ready. No calls. Picked gun up today, February 2. Not even Sorry, couldn't get to it, nothing. Don't waste your time! Update: Took my Hi Point to JM Gun Repair the day I retrieved from S3. JM called the 8th and gun was ready!
