One of their drivers just tried to run me off of the interstate twice. Called the police twice and reported, giving the license plate number and truck description. I doubt anything will happen to the driver. He rode up one foot behind me and I tapped my breaks to signal him to back up. He then went road rage mode, maliciously trying to cut me off and force me to drive off the road. Extremely unprofessional. This all happened on 10/22/2025 in the Des Moines area on I-80 W.
Not equipped to do effective project execution. Poor management, worse results.
This company is absolutely the worst. They ran over private property made ruts in my yard. They put blacktop on a bike trail that looks like a pissed off juvenile laid. They came back a few days later to back file along the trail and used clay with rocks. The grass will never grow in that and it looks like a 3rd grade kid did. Totally a mess. Save yourself from this horrible company. The photos are after a few years. Looks horrible. Stay away from SM Hentges & Sons junky work ethic
I must say Henches has always been great with there pricing and always flexible when it comes to working with small companies like my self! If you’re looking to good people to work with come here
