The installed a heating system in our new house. It it has never worked properly. Some obvious problems were they installed a four zone Honeywell controller but there were five zones in the house. a cold air return in a closet, a heating duct in a closet , a heating duct that's closed off because of insulation . When we try to cool down an upstairs bedroom the entire house gets cold before the bedroom. I'm not a contractor so I'm not sure what the ratio is between supply ducts for heating or cold air and the cold air return.... read more
