Robert did great work tracing and sorting out a leak that was causing me endless problems in my bathroom and which caused a hole in my kitchen ceiling below. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and managed to find exactly where it was coming from, something I had been unable to do. SJ Shortman will definitely be my plumber of choice going forward!

I have never felt like I didn’t belong in the UK, until dealing with this xenophobic and unprofessional company. We waited 2 weeks for a technician, who was sent to my house for a 12 o’clock appointment. He arrived 15 minutes early, which normally would be fine, except I work from home and had scheduled a meeting to end at 12 pm. My wife answered the door and let him in to see the kitchen where we would like the dishwasher installed. I have used S J Shortman for a few years now and on a number of occasions at both my home and my mother-in-laws home. I can honestly say that Robert Shortman is excellent, a very good plumber, very knowledgeable and on two emergency occasions attended within the hour, I couldn't ask for a better service. I would highly recommend this firm for any and all domestic pluming requirements, they also charge a very fair price for the work they do.
