This is the real deal--I was amazed that a small town like Bear River would have such authentic, and amazing, Indian food. Perfectly prepared, prompt, excellent price, and the taste is worthy of any of the much pricier places you'd find in big cities. I gave the atmosphere five stars because even though it's takeout, it's friendly, and what a beautiful drive from Digby (if you go along the river).

Stopped here after getting a recommendation from the Bear River Vineyard staff. An excellent hole-in-the-wall takeout place that's open Mon-Wed. (It shares space with a pizza place that's open the other nights.) Had delicious curries and the tomato soup with an Indian twist is so flavorful! Would definitely order from here again.

Rice was good with small piece of chicken tigh. Not enough meat for amount of rice.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for lunch and we loved it! The curry chicken and butter chicken were flavourful with lots of chicken. The samosas wee freshly made and tasty with the sauce provided. Very pleasant and accommodating owners. Cannot wait to try the other dishes especially the thali. Such a welcome addition to the Digby area. Come out and support this wonderful small business! It is nice to see the Digby area getting some really good ethnic restaurants.
