Dr. Malaisrie is an amazing and smart surgeon. From the moment I saw him, I knew my father was going to be in great hands during his emergency open heart surgery.
I went in for surgery on Monday, left today on Thursday and I feel amazing. Dr. Malaisrie is an extremely skilled surgeon and took the time to listen to my requests and questions even with everything else that was going on. He has also done a surgery for a family member who is 85 and dissected and saved his life. For me, I wanted a minimally invasive procedure with one of the new bio-valves that have a longer life. Dr Malaisrie performed a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement. After 2 weeks I was able to do 8 laps in the pool. He's personable and his team is excellent!
