Top end rebuild. Afterwards it ran like a tractor, oil leaked badly, head gasket blown. Darran fixed the oil leak with lots of sealant and retorqued the head , but it still ran badly. I found the camshaft sprocket was on backwards and timing was out by two teeth. Darran defended his work instead of apologising for the glaring error, and chastised me for "playing" with the engine, saying I voided warranty (useless warranty!). Daran that runs/owns SC Motto is a Master Mechanic with a wealth of experience. He has contacts all over the motorcycling industry both here in OZ and OS. He is a one man operation that appeals to me as my beloved bikes get cared for by him alone and not a inexperienced apprentice. He has all required equipment to work on all makes and models from current to vintage. Daran can also maintain warranty service requirements of new bikes.10/10 service.

I've had 2 bikes to Darren at SCmoto over the last few years and he's been nothing but helpful, fair and honest. Darren is highly experienced and he will always be my go-to mechanic while I have bikes. Thanks Darren

This bloke has gotta be the worst I went there with my bike and asked nicely if he has a minute to have a look at a oil leak and tell me if I can ride it home or leave it there he’s said HE DOESNT DO QUICK LOOKS and to come back Monday what a grub worst shop !!!
