Went in hoping for a quick inspection. Staff cited my back brakes were un-passable before the inspection began so I decided to leave knowing I have no brake issues. Telling them I wasn't interested in doing brakes or any service didn't stop them from starting the inspection. Presented bill for NYS Inspection with a failing paper. Went to another shop two days later and passed with no faults.
Refused to pass my car for nys inspection citing break pads. However there was plenty of brake pad left. They certainly didn't check the distance. The woman just pointed said that's not enough. Let me see the measurement. Cause there was more than 2/32 left on the pad. Like most other auto shops relies on people not knowing anything to get one over on customers. Shameful.
