Beware! Beware! This home is in total disrepair. Before I start let me say that we have traveled the world and stayed in many homes and condos, so I do not take writing this review lightly. We stayed at Beachfront Retreat. First the good. Location Location, this home is literally right on the beach. No dunes or walkway to walk over. These folks are amazing. My step father died and unfortunately we booked through tripadvisor. We spoke to the AGM christy. She went to bat for us and took trip advisor to task. If I meet her I will take her and her partner to dinner best place in the area. I will definitely book with them again, directly next time

This Property was infested with ants wasn’t cleaned blood on sheets, broken shower handles, ceiling fan was spinning off the wall over master bed. The infestation was so bad that we could not utilize the kitchen at all I called every day while we were on vacation to complain, they Brought up ant spray and offered to send out a pest inspector to spray the house which is not something you want while you were staying in it. BEWARE!! We booked a Diamond Beach Condo through Ryson. When we returned the first night we heard what sounded like a train whistle (loud and high pitched). The handle to the storm door had a space small enough for the high winds to cause a whistle sound that could not be resolved. We called the office and requested a repair. We were put on a list and slept with the door open. After several additional calls we were told the door would be fixed after we checked out. Made the mistake of not knowing the pandemic was going to happen. Paid a deposit in February, hoping to have a large family gathering in November. No exceptions are made due to COVID. Having insurance makes no difference. Apparently I'm responsible for the whole price! Talked to two lawyers. COVID changes nothing. I would think they would make some accommodations for return customers. This would have been my third year using them, but I will never use them in the future.
