My best friend died due to the negligence of this place. She deteriorated massively after being sent here and she escaped and had nowhere to go and died in the cold. They had the cheek to send a letter saying they will use her circumstances to make necessary improvements. Absolutely insulting.
I used to have a beautiful 24-year-old daughter, then she was taken there and able to escape from a secure mental health unit through neglecting protocol shes now passed away if only they had watched her she would have been alive today CLOSES THIS PLACE FOREVER

Hell on earth. Some staff don't care. Night staff are even sadistic. Activities room closed every 5 mins so staff can have a fag. Activities and drs appointments constantly cancelled and rearranged without notice. Avoid this place at all costs. Someone should go undercover in there.
Found the staff very welcoming, helpful, kind and caring. Great ward with great staff. Thank you for making my stay there positive Update. Unfortunately was put in the 136 suite a few days ago where the bathroom was locked and when I knocked on the window and asked them to open it they ignored me. Was left for 7 hours with no food drink or access to a bathroom resulting in me having to wee in the corner of the room.
