We booked the load at 9AM and gave the broker ETA 11 AM. He said ok. Deadheaded 95 miles and showed up at 10:50 AM. The shipper punished us for being late because we figured out later it was supposed to be checked in at 8 AM. Someone else had messed up the load earlier and because we recovered their load from the broker, we got punished. Our driver tried to explain that he drove straight to show up as early as possible even though he wasn’t aware of that appt. He was blamed for and made to wait for. Attn. Drivers: No overnight parking. But if u make a right as ur leaving the facility & turn right as u cross over the RR tracks. There's room on the side of the street the trucks to park. There are also 2 Pilot Flying Js on I-71 exit 28. Drivers area with clean unisex restroom vendoring machines and microwave. S/R office in between doors 10 & 11. 10/23/24
