Had my timing chain replaced after evoque cut out on a main road. Cost roughly 3.5k. Was told 6 months later when my engine failed that after it had cut out at the breakdown the engine would have been damaged so should have been advised to get a reconditioned engine and the repair was fruitless. I’ve emailed Land Rover a number of times on their platform but still no reply. The car has now been scrapped.
