Dr. Wright is knowledgeable, approachable, kind, and caring.
Scheduling a new patient appointment was handled poorly. I scheduled via ZocDoc and then my appointment was rescheduled two times. The latest reason being I did not confirm my insurance. However, when they reached out via TEXT they asked for insurance and my credit card information, but then didn't confirm how or where to send it. I am not going to text my information to some random number that doesn't match their office number. I feel there was a disconnect and that is disappointing. Dr. Wright is very caring and a balanced person. He doesn’t rush me but is quick when I need to be. Very accommodating and asks a lot of questions so I don’t have to remember what I need to tell him in order to have my treatment going in the right direction. He listens when you don’t like the feeling of the medicine you are taking and is open to trying something else. I’m doing great on my meds because of how well Dr.Wright and I worked together to find the right ones for me.
Dr Wright is a lovely person, however it seems impossible to get ahold of him. Nobody answers the phones/returns voicemails or emails, to the point where I’ve missed medications because I can’t get ahold of anyone to get them refilled. Unfortunately I’ve had to switch psychiatrists.
I have faith that Dr Wright is great at what he does and I really enjoyed my sessions with him even though they were over the phone. His office staff needs a lot of help! They are not friendly or organized at all. They will send out messages to you that are for other clients. They will collect a copay even when they make the mistake with zero care of what happen.
