Ryan Patrick Vineyards was a pioneer winegrower in what is now Washington State's newest American Viticultural Area (AVA), Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley. The state's thirteenth AVA runs along a stretch of steep cliffs above the Columbia River and surrounds the town of Quincy, Washington. Consistent quality and remarkable values at all levels from the Red Head Red on up the line to the current 2014 Reserve Cabernet...but this is not just true of the red wines. Solidly made Riesling since the first vintage in 2011 on up through the 4 tiers of Chardonnay, all are winners. My personal favorite though of the Chardonnay wines is the latest addition the French Creek Vineyard...Yummm, on all levels.
We loved the reds! Delicious, rich, and full bodied.
