We have been here for 2 hours in the waiting room hoping they call my mother to be placed in a room. If I get sick, I will never come here.
They will overbill you and/or your insurance with inaccurate coding. A simple visit for a scrape and band aids will be labeled as required testing and stitches. They are slow to remedy the issue and care none about their patients!!! Methodist was not very good but much better than this!
Mistakenly went here instead of Gateway. Dr. Koon did my gallbladder surgery which went okay even though it ended up being more complicated than expected. Then had gallstones removed and stents put in place by Dr. Raza. Was supposed to be discharged the next day according to Dr. Koon but Dr. Raza decided I needed to stay another day and of course the hospitalist, Dr. Ahmad, agreed with Dr. Raza. I had a family member get care here recently and there was very poor communication with the patient. Unacceptable. Not to mention the source of the issue for the patient was not adequately addressed. The source of the issue was not even remotely adequately addressed. The climate for patient safety and approach to communicating with patients needs to be seriously evaluated.
