Awful lawyer! Don’t use this guy! Mom paid lawyer Gary Hicks very well for her will & trust, entrusted him to help carry out her intentions. Mom recently passed, the hostile Executor/Trustee with impairment and an open case with APS refuses to communicate with the beneficiaries. Lawyer Gary Hicks wont talk to us, hides behind his elaborate phone tree, secretary said see the Executor/Trustee who won’t talk with us. I wouldn’t recommend this attorney to anyone. The whole process starts with a big sales pitch—they reel you in by gathering you in a room with maybe 30 or 40 others and pitching why you should have a trust. But after that, you never deal with the main attorney. We had three conference calls with the junior attorney, who listened to my parents’ wishes, but in the end, it felt like the attorney and my sister got what they wanted, not my parents.
