The front desk, website, and accounting department made my experience unnecessarily stressful. Your staff should understand UC SHIP and the insurance verification process instead of leaving students confused about their coverage. I got UC SHIP specifically to receive care here, only to find out my original HMO insurance was already covered. DeWitt Physical Therapy is a well organized therapy center with attentive front desk crew and very capable therapists. The center is well furnished with therapy and workout equipment and the therapy sessions are helpful and educational. I received a new idea or modality with every new session, and my therapist is very attentive to all my pains. I can wholeheartedly recommend this therapy office to everyone.
I have been treated by Ryan, and he's just amazing, but more so I have been seen by another therapist in his clinic, and my wife has been seen by another. Everyone there seems well above average and my results have exceeded expectations. DeWitt is an exceptional resource for Santa Cruz County.
You don't need to look any further-- this is where you want to get your physical therapy. I have done a lot of physical therapy with various different health systems and private practices. Nothing compares. This place is amazing. I'm a little more complex because I have an autoimmune disorder that has damaged the nerves in my hands and feet and in addition I was preparing for a hip replacement and wanted to be pre hab for it by strengthening and practicing everything I needed to practice before surgery.
