My husband was dropped as a patient. We were unaware that you have to see the doctor once a year in order to maintain your status as a patient. He was discharged from the hospital and was refused a follow up appointment with Intercoastal even though it was in the orders. Be careful when you become a patient of this group that you see the doctor once a year. The receptionist did say she was very sorry.
Dr. Asterita’s dedication and compassion is unsurmountable. You always take the time to explain things & provide utmost diligence. We can’t thank you enough for your care throughout some of the hardest years!!!

Dr. Asterita is the best doctor I ever had, he is very professional has a good demeanor, takes the time to explain things detail by detail and he is very acknowledgeable. I am very happy to have him as my doctor.
I have been with Dr. Asterita for years now and even though I've moved 45 minutes away, I will not change doctors because he is so good. He is patient, knowledgeable, empathetic, and thorough. Literally everything you would want in a doctor. On top of that he is just plain "a good person"!
