Dr. Mizell is one of the best neurologists. On my first visit he listened, understood and later got to the bottom of the reasons why I went to see him once I was able to complete some MRIs, labs and exams. He patiently spend enough time to discuss my symptoms and has been monitoring my medical condition since then. Recommended!
His office staff are so unkind, uncaring, and not at all interested in helping patients. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so badly by staff in all my years. It’s a shame, because the physician has a great reputation, but his staff make visiting him not worth it. I’m actively seeking a different provider.
I was well aware of the poor reviews given to Dr. Ryan Mizelle. The reviews were clearly not favorable, and yet, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, especially because I urgently needed a neurologist who specialized in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Sadly, I quickly realized that the poor reviews were more than warranted. He is taking care of my son and everything been great.
I got a VM on Friday afternoon when my new patient appointment was scheduled for this Tuesday. It basically said that I had another type of ailment and that he doesn't see those patients (and my appt was cancelled). Well I had already explained to the clerk about my questions and concerns then she told me that don't worry he does do initial screening for MS that you don't have to have it to be seen. Pretty disappointed after readying all the great reviews.
