I was rejected by two surgeons in Melbourne because I needed a support rod in my femur because the bone was compromised by a cancer tumor. I was told by my oncologist and my radiologist that they believed that breakage was imminent. The only surgeon that I could find that would do the procedure that I needed was doctor Durfee. I wish I could give this office 0 stars. My mother waited 4 months for an appointment and when she arrives for the appointment the staff tells her she cannot be seen because she needs an authorization. Why was this not checked before the appointment?!! I've worked in doctor's offices before and we would check days before not at the time of the appointment. No care for people in need of an ONCOLOGIST! Absolutely disgusting patient care.
