In my opinion all the nurses I came in contact with were nothing less than WONDERFUL!
Three days following knee replacement, I had to go to ER due to lower leg swelling which was hot, red, and very sensitive to touch. I could barely walk due to pain in foot due to swelling. I was given the tests required to ensure there was no clot. Even though it was apparent, even to me, that this was more than just swelling as a result of surgery, I was released with "keep leg up, wrapped, and use ice." Our family member received courteous, top-notch care here from beginning to end. We had gone to another ER first that had a 7-hr wait, so we called ahead and came to RWJ because the line was shorter. From the first NP to Nurse Kristen to Dr Bettakarya(?), they ran the right tests, made the right diagnosis and gave us great care. Special shout-out to the very nice guys in transport!
got the nerve to tell me to take a multivitamin after I was dripping sweat like a raincloud across days and forgot basic math and slept 45/48 hrs lol. no referrals. days and days of pain and uselessness just here's a flinstones gummies. I'll go to CVS next time probably get more educated care. Receptionist said that no one was available in the emergency dept. Hung up on me multiple times. Extremely unprofessional.
