Worst experience ever! RV Share is a company for the owner not the renter. From the moment I made a reservation I was nickel and dimmed. What they advertised would cost $1,200 for 4 nights has now cost me close $2,400. And they are holding $1,500 because I went over on miles. Do NOT use this company. You might be better off just buying your own RV!
Avoid at all costs. I have had my issues with them in the past. However, I have not rented through since 2024 and no longer have an RV. Well they had a “glitch” this past week where they canceled thousands of past reservations and back charged all of the RV owners. Two days later and I haven’t gotten my money returned. Constant run around. Payment processor says the money is sitting and needs to be released at this pint. RVShare keeps changing their story. Will never use them again.
The unit I rented did not have functional air conditioning. I notified the owner early in my stay and received NO response for over 24 hours and not until I messaged I was leaving early due to not being able to use unit. I had to find a hotel last minute to accommodate our group. The owner showed no compassion or understanding for my situation. I certainly understand issues can occur, but the response , or lack of, has been atrocious. Will not rent from RV Share again.
HORRIBLE customer service and website. We are days away from our trip and RV share has done absolutely nothing to help us after we’ve spent nearly THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS $$$ booking through their website. We booked an RV in February and we are just now being updated that the owners have logged out of RV share and disconnected their account, the RV was said to have been ‘broken into and vandalised’. so, what does RVSHARE do to help fix this horrible problem? Terrible company I would not rent through RV share please consider another other site to rent from such as outdoorsy or directly from an RV company. The rental RV was cancelled on us a week before our trip. Customer service is absolutely terrible and totally unhelpful. I have had to relentlessly call and email them to get our refund. The only remedy offered for the major inconvenience this company caused was a $50 off $500 per night fee which is more per night than the cost of our initial rental fee.
