We had an awful experience. Sold a car that we later found out needed a new engine. We have been advised the odometer is not accurate. It needed new tires because of wheel rot. We paid for a complete refurb including a new radio which didn’t come. We don’t want to waste our money and time on an expensive lawyer to rightfully remedy this situation after asking him to do the right thing (he refused) so we are letting karma deal with this one. Rever Motors has a fantastic selection of unique vintage cars. If you're a car enthusiast, it would be silly not to visit them at least once. Besides the fan favorite German vehicles, they also carry British brands and some other obscure ones as well that not everyone may be familiar with. Aside from the selection, everyone here was super friendly, helpful and attentive, which meant I got to leave in a very positive mood. Don't you love when that happens?
I wish I could say something positive about my experience with Rever Motors and Jeff Simpson, but unfortunately, it was nothing short of a disaster. I brought my 1991 Land Rover Defender 90 to Jeff expecting quality work from someone who seemed to know the ins and outs of these trucks. What I got instead was a sloppy, corner-cutting mess that ultimately left me with a blown engine and a lot less money in my pocket. Did a lot of work on my 1961 Landrover over the last couple of months and stuck with the task through multiple challenges. Jeff kept me informed of progress and returned a far better functioning car.
Do not go here, do not get your car repaired here. They are scam artists. They sold me a car that when I drove off the lot, the hood went up in smoke. I thought I was going to die. They wouldn’t return it. They’re abusive. They have made the last few months unbearable. Apparently so many people have tried to sue them.
