Really enjoyed my visit to RuYi Modern Chinese. The grilled prawns and pork belly bao were delicious, and the wagyu main was rich and full of flavour. The caramel pudding dessert was also amazing — super smooth and not too sweet. Great atmosphere and thoughtful service. Definitely worth a visit！

The pork belly bao was soft and flavourful, and the wagyu main was very tender with a unique peppery sauce. A lovely Asian fusion fine dining experience in Melbourne.
Had a lovely dinner at RuYi Modern Chinese. We tried the $108 tasting menu and it was a great introduction to modern Chinese fine dining. The fried tofu was crispy outside and silky inside, and the pork gua bao was full of flavour. The black pepper wagyu was very tender and cooked perfectly. Beautiful atmosphere as well.

Had a great date night at RuYi Modern Chinese. The xiao long bao was surprisingly authentic (approved by someone from Shanghai!). The pork belly gua bao was delicious with apple slices that balanced the richness nicely. The slow-cooked duck was incredibly tender and full of flavour. Also loved their creative cocktails. Definitely a lovely spot for a date.
