I've lived in Spring for over 27 years and have passed by the Rutland shop thousands of times. Had a bugaboo with my transmission and my general mechanic referred me to these guys. My daughter's 2014 Nissan Versa had been diagnosed at a transmission shop on the Southwest side of town. They assessed that she needed to replace her transmission and wanted her come up with almost $4,000.00 to replace it. I told her I wanted to help, but I would have to get a second opinion. I blew my transmission up back in November of 2019. I called John at rutland to do a rebuild job. A month after they picked it up it was still not finished. I was told it would only take two weeks. Then they destroyed my transmission and messed up the transfer case which ultimately had to be rebuilt as well. After all of the problems that they had they put a used transmission in my truck and told me it was a new one paid for by them because they destroyed my original transmission to the point of no return. ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE THEM A ZERO, I AM A VIETNAM DISABLED VETERAN, THAT WAS TOLD THAT THIS TRANSMISSION SERVICE WAS GOOD ?? THEY TOOK MY TRUCK IN FOR TRANSMISSION REPAIR IN JANUARY AND DID THE WORK, THE TRANSMISSION DID'T SHIFT CORRECT WHEN I GOT IT BACK AND IT HAD A BAD LEAK. I HAVE HAD THE TRUCK OVER THERE 4 TIMES AND IT STILL LEAKS TRANSMISSION FLUID. These guys are great! Johnny is very knowledgeable and professional. Had some work done on my dodge 3500 and they went above and beyond my expectations. They've got a customer for life. There's a reason they've been open for over 30 years. If you want your stuff fixed right call Rutland and talk to Johnny and he'll take care of you. Honest and professional!

I took my Dodge 3500 to Rutland after having the transmission rebuilt in Oklahoma 4 months prior, I was pulling 16000 lb trailer from Tulsa to Houston and broke down with trans issues 3 times between Tulsa and Durant. Went to 3 different Dodge dealerships for repair and each time they threw parts at it and $400.00 later was broke down again. My 8 hour trip to Houston took 48 hours. Was recommended by a friend. Had some work done to a ford 9.75 differential. They got me all fixed up, no complaints. They got my business now.
