Rang Rutland Minis on Friday and spoke to David the owner about my mini that had been asleep in my garage for many years, my mum bought it for me after I lost my Nan and spoke about how the previous owner had customised her for his son and he didnt want it which was to my benefit, I met the father of my children who also had a love of minis. David the owner of Rutland Minis is a extremely knowledgeable and experienced guy on classic mini. I had problems with my Mini 25, starting, I called the AA and got home start. The AA could not get the mini running so I had it recovered to Rutland Minis. David was very busy but looked at it straight away and found that the distributor was shot. He managed to put.a second hand electronic ignition, coil etc on and ordered me a new set. He got me going in no time at all. When the new set arrived he swiftly changed it over. He a... read more
