This review is a warning to any woman dealing with chronic UTIs or recurring urinary symptoms. Dr. Ruth Strakosha's negligence worsened my condition and put my health at serious risk. Despite a recent hospitalization for a urinary infection, worsening symptoms, and peer-reviewed evidence I personally brought to her attention, she repeatedly refused to order the testing I needed. I was very disappointed. My husband had surgery, and the insurance co-payments were high. They don't have a plan to pay a smaller amount of money, and someone came out and told him that if he didn't have the money, he couldn't have the surgery and that he should make another appointment, without even asking if he was feeling well or if he was in pain. There's no humanity there; they don't care. Don't go there.
I can’t comment on the doctor because this office is nothing short of a hot mess! Horrible experience. Waited in an exam room over 45 minutes at 8:30 am without a single person coming in to explain the wait. I left without being seen. It takes them ten days to respond to Mychart messages. Stay away from this office!
The call center to office people is completely awful. You call with an urgent message and they have 24-48 hours to respond if they even do. Last time close to a year ago they finally responded weeks later. I like Dr Strakosha but why can’t her people call back and be a caring staff? This could finally be a dealbreaker.
