Good food
All of the staff that I encountered was wonderful! The ambiance is very nice, what you would expect from a fine dining steak house. Now, the food was definitely not what I expected. I reside in Milwaukee, and there isn't a Ruth Chris there, so when I was in Madison for work that week, I decided that I must go, especially since it was my birthday. Follow up: after posting our reviews we received a response stating that they take responsibility and promise to make it right if we give them another chance. I appreciate the response and the show of concern. I understand that mistakes happen, especially in the restaurant industry. We have talked it over, and agreed to try the restaurant again instead of basing our opinion on one visit. I'll revamp my review based on our follow up visit. Wife and I came in tonight early around 4:30 had a 5 pm reservation (thank you for getting us in early). We had few drinks at bar before hand, brandy old fashioned was made perfect. We both had the Ribeye with Au Gratin and the wedge salad. This was our 29th anniversary dinner we never dined at Ruth Chris I think we found our new annual tradition.
