When I purchased a 1969 Corvette Coupe in 2009 I think that every "Bubba Mechanic" in Central Ohio had worked on her at one time or the other. Seeing an add for Ruth Restorations in "Cruisin' Times" magazine we drove our battered new love up to Grafton and met Bob and Craig Ruth. We had an immediate chemistry and a major resto-mod was planned since the original 427-ci-390 HP engine and 4-speed transmission had long disappeared and I wasn't interested in the time and money for an original restoration.
