Update: I do not leave this message untruthfully, and it's terrible to assume and berate my family's experience as a lie. This issue has moved my family tremendously. It's only fair others know so they can make clear decisions for themselves and their families. My mother went to this person for stomach issues she was having, and my aunt accompanied her for support. After an endoscopy, this supposed doctor told my mother that she had Barrett's disease.
