Ruth Wintz was the Nephrologist assigned to my family member during a hospital stay. Ruth bedside demeanor was cold & detached. Ruth does not truly care about ALL patients, take from that statement what you will. Ruth tried to use my family member for experimental treatment. When I, a healthcare surrogate declined such non-evidence based treatment, Ruth immediately removed herself from the care team because I "didn't trust her judgement" for the experimentation. I was recently told by the referring MD that I was a no show at my appointment with this MD. NOT true, I waited for 11/2 hours in the waiting room. No one kept me informed. I checked in 15 minutes prior to my designated time. I kept on checking when my appointment would be. They were clueless. I left after an hour and a half. I kept the appointment, the staff did not do what they were suppose to do. No apologies, just false information given to the referring MD. I tried to call the Practice administrator. Dr Wintz is professional, friendly, through, and the best doctor. She is worth seeing. Even driving to med center worth it!
