She was more than 30 mins late and didn’t apologized. She did not take the time to properly evaluate my condition, examine my condition, or perform a physical assessment before discussing treatment options. The only thing missing from the interaction with Dr. Austin was perhaps a casual “what’s up, dude,” as her unprofessional attitude, tone, and body language made the visit feel more like an impersonal encounter than a professional medical consultation.
If you care about your health, DO NOT GO HERE! All they care about is making money. The staff and doctors are rude and unprofessional. The waiting rooms are dirty and overcrowded, especially the surgery center. This is assembly line medicine at its worst.
I took my daughter here for her ankle. It was mediocre and nothing special, the medical assistant was always rude, I got emails about a surgery being scheduled and called the MA about it and she was beyond rude telling me that is not true and I did not receive it (I happily provided her with the email to show her I did in fact) I am now 4 months out from receiving a bill 3 x the amount I should owe and I call every 2-3 weeks and the "external" billing dept says they agree and show I owe what I say I should owe and that they ... read more
I had my husband transported to this office for an X-ray of his broken leg and a surgical consult. Turns out they don't have an X-ray table that moves up and down, even though I explained his situation when I made the appointment. It was suggested that I get him a X-ray elsewhere, have it sent here, and I would hear from the surgeon. Two and a half years ago, Dr. Summers performed my first total hip replacement. Fourteen months ago, he completed the second one. Good Sam Hospital was always my go to hospital when I first moved to WPB back in the early 80s. I then moved further South and used other hospitals which were seriously horrible. I and I will not name names as I do not want to be involved in litigation. Recently I moved back to WPB and had a medical emergency several days ago and I was taken to Good Sam. I prioritized my relevant chronic health concerns when I initially met Dr. Khoury because I knew it will be vital during my recovery of this spinal surgery, yet, it was never discussed before nor after my surgery, as a matter fact fact, he never visited me while hospitalized for more than a week, instead, he sent his assistants, who weren't MD's.
