Okay so I've been ordering from Rusty's for 20 years and I can say they are consistently incredible. I mostly do delivery, for which they are prompt and quite capable of navigating Santa Barbara's many winding roads, but I have eaten in a few times as well. The crust is the perfect amount of crisp, the pizza is always warm when it shows up, and is (almost) better the next couple of days. Placed an order at 7:34 with AI answering. Took five calls to get it right since the AI doesn’t work the greatest. Said it would deliver in 20 min. Called and talked to a live person at 8:53 who said they should be there in 5 min or call back. Called back numerous times and when answered the call hangs up. It’s 9:21. This is a bummer. I really like Rusty’s.
