After putting new tires on my 2002 Tahoe last fall with no issues I took the Tahoe to have the rear brakes replaced at Rusty Wrench because we were getting ready to go to Sturgis pulling a travel trailer. It had been a few weeks since the brakes were replaced, I heard a noise all the way up to Surgis--thought it was in the left front wheel.
