Not gonna lie, was a little questionable when walking up, but once inside, was really surprised! Was really nice inside, both restaurant and bar area were really nice! My brother and I went to eat. Got the byob (build your own burger) and man, it was really good. Cooked perfect with a THICC patty. Flavor was great, and hand battered onion rings. Man it was good. This is a new option locally, and I'm for one pretty annoyed about it. Attached to the Lion's Den when you first walk in it looks like just a hotel, but go further and the main room has a giant TV wall several tables and a number of games pool/foosball/darts etc then if I the right is the main bar. The Rusty Texan is so beautiful inside. It has amazing food! I went yesterday with my boyfriend and now I'm back the next day with my daughter. Everyone needs to try out the food. They also have really good prices for the food you get. So yummy. Free pool, free darts, free shuffle board while you wait as well for your food.
the spot looks nice and clean, ive been there 4 times in the last month. what i liked most is that the food quality n taste is pretty consistent, which is kind of rare to find these days as theres just so much options that dont offer the quality im going for. I had the brisket nachos and that brisket is delicious. Rusty, the owner smokes it himself. My friend had a burger and fries. We ate a late lunch, around 2:00, right after they opened and they were still working a few things out, like the bar, but they had lots of pool tables, food ball tables, I think shuffleboard and a few others, perfect t for college kids wanting to blow off some steam during the semester.
