Don’t take a table and tell the waitress you’re only having drinks (even if you told the hostess such). You will be greeted with an attitude and told “it will take long because I’m prioritizing food service over you”. Drinks were watered down. When delivered to our table, Angelina plopped down our drinks and stopped short of rolling her eyes. We were disappointed by the rudeness….especially because we tip extra when doing cocktails only.
We had such a lovely time at the rusty nail! We had a large party come through during a busy rush hour and the manager was super accommodating. The service was fantastic! After we wrapped up some of us grabbed a few drinks at the outside bar. The service and drinks were incredible. Highly recommend the orange crushes with fresh squeezed orange juice! Corey and Taylor were super nice and great conversation. Great for the whole fam with live music most nights!
Rusty nail is one of the best bar restaurants in Cape May. My family and I always make an effort to come when we’re in town. Would recommend getting an orange crush and their beach plum pulled pork sandwich. The manger James is a hoot and a half! Awesome guy!

Local here and a frequent visitor. This place has a beautiful location right across from the ocean, and the food has always been good. Unfortunately, the last two visits have been disappointing from a service standpoint, and both were on weeknights before the summer season started. On my most recent visit, I ordered a Cabernet and was served a Pinot Grigio.
