Great little hometown Diner. When we first arrived to the outside—well, the name Rusty Lantern Diner seemed appropriate—half expected to hear a gate creaking and slamming in the wind, and see a hitching rail for your horse. That made us a little nervous, but also so excited. Once inside that nervousness is quickly replaced by friendly people. You can immediately feel that it's a real local favorite. While the food was good our service was mediocre. I needed an extra napkins and never got someone to come back around until we were done. No offer of another glass of tea. Seemed pricing was a little high. We got a sandwich, salad, 1 peach tea, and reg tea. After tip right at $50. I could have gone somewhere much better for less..... and got an extra napkin

The food is just ok. This is a place for the older crowd nothing cool or exciting just an old timey felling restaurant with comfort food as its primary focus
