Had dinner at Rustique Pizzeria and Lounge in the historic brick chapel building on Velp Avenue in Suamico and the wood fired brick oven pizzas are phenomenal. Ordering the pesto fries to start and sharing a couple of their specialty pizzas with blistered crusts and fresh mozzarella never disappoints. Unique setting and great service.
I ordered a salad which was fine except it appears the chicken strips they put on the top appeared to come directly from the freezer. Tasteless, cool, pale.
Best tasting and variety of gourmet, specialized, appetizers and pizza. Service is great. Rustic environment feels just cozy enough to eat and depart without wanting to stay forever. I will make an effort go back when in the area.
