Tried the special of the day at Rustica in Lufkin—the Mediterranean Bowl with yellow rice and oven-roasted chicken—and I can confidently say this one is worth ordering. That sauce though… 🤤 It was like if garlic aioli and ranch had a delicious little baby. I wanted to put it on everything. Everything I have ever eaten here has been delicious (including their weekly lunch specials), but that Reuben sandwich and that Greek Gyro Bowl are available every day and well worth checking out.
I love this place! The wait staff are so helpful in explaining what they have to offer. Up on their recommendation beer cooked beef sandwich which was excellent. The order of fries was unsurpassed! There's just nothing better than homemade fries. Desserts were buy one get one free. My husband got the carrot cake which was rich and he ended up bringing half of it home. This place may be small & hard to see But, their food is Fabulous!!! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed by any means. Service was great as well. I give it a 10+
