Extremely bad experience and felt like lab rat. I was lied to by him and this office (Debra) more than once and put off multiple times due to him being on vacation. I get a message saying my potential was canceled to call at a number she gave me. I wasn’t planning on going there again anyway, but they were supposed to transfer my info to my new urologist and didn’t.
Scammed me out of $400+ through consultation and referral appointments. Called me saying he is no longer practicing. How is that legal? Why would you schedule someone and take their money just to leave the practice 2 months later?!?!?! My first operation would have been already been done in August. Then they pushed it back to October 31st. Now they called me again on Oct 3rd saying Dr.Rustan Van Wyk will no longer be practicing there and that I need to find somewhere else. This is crazy? Couldn’t ask for a nicer and more professional physician. Dealing with Alzheimer’s he has been somewhat challenging and Dr. Van Wyk has been patient, understanding and explains in detail to help make sure there are no questions or concerns. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone with urinary issues. He does not over medicate but examines and treats the medical issue in a professional manner with necessary medications only.
Dr is very easy going and willing to listen to your problems. For a Man a visit to a Urologist is something we avoid at all costs, but Dr Van Wyk made the visit as pleasant as possible and works to put you at ease. I would recommend him to anyone! He is caring and knowledgeable and very very professional... a wonderful Doctor
