We always eat here when my husband and I come from Texas to visit our granddaughter. The square pizza and chicken parmesan are amazing. The owners Don and Kat are very hands on and over see a great restaurant. The chocolate cake is a must for dessert.
I feel bad leaving this review but I am very disappointed in my last visit. First the bad news, I used to love the meatballs and thought they had the best meatball hoagies around. But the meatballs I got this time were the worst meatballs I ever had. They tasted like herbs and bad meat. Maybe they turned? They were terrible. Their sauce is horrible. Very acidic. I got sick after the first couple of bites of my meatball parmigiana sandwich. Ordered tortellini soup for about $9 , got 4 tortellinis. All broth. I’m from NY and these slices definitely weren’t N Y style as advertised. Pizza sauce very sweet.
First time here. I had the Russo's lasagna, he had the short rib ravioli. We shared a little, both were very good. Lasagna, hot and flavorful. Ravioli beefy and great flavor. I had the tomato basil soup. Rich, hearty and tasty. He had the ceasar salad, also good. Our drinks were Peroni, nice and cold. We ordered at the counter but they brought our dishes to the table. Overall a great dinner, a nice experience. We will be back. ❣️
